Dr. Rebecca Bauer was born and raised in Niagara Falls, and obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences from Brock University. Dr. Bauer graduated Summa Cum Laude from New York Chiropractic College in July 2017, where she was the recipient of the Basic Sciences Award, the Radiology Award, Distinguished Service Award, Alumni Class President Award, and the Ernest G Napolitano Award for excellent leadership. While there, Rebecca served as a peer mentor, tutor and teaching assistant. She has also obtained advanced certificates in Sports Science and Human Performance, as well as Customized Orthotics. She is a certified RockTape provider and is currently undergoing additional training to be certified in Acupuncture.
During her clinical experience, Rebecca participated in an honours internship at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, where she provided chiropractic care to the military veterans within an integrated hospital setting. She also performed a rotation through Hobart William Smith Colleges where she treated various college athletes. Rebecca has treated athletes at a number of racing events, including the IronMan in Syracuse NY.
